User Profile

Alright... I hate filling these things in but I always feel a little cheated if there's nothing there when I'm looking at people's user info, so - not to be a hypocrite, I guess I had better put something here.

This is my writing journal - or will be if I manage to keep it up for more than a couple of weeks. It'll mostly have fanfiction in as that's what I write the most of, but there may be some original stuff from time to time. The fandoms will include, but not be limited to: Supernatural (which I am completely obsessed with at the minute), Harry Potter and various others which I can't think of at the moment.

In November my Nanowrimo novel will probably also be here, along with some small rants about how bored I am getting with it... but no one has to read those, they're just to make me feel better.

I also have a deviantart account: here which I'll probably post most of my fanart on as well.

I apologise for the lack of cool icons at the moment as well, because I'm having slight graphics package problems in that the only good one I own is on my old computer which is no longer connected to the Internet so it'll take me a while to make some new ones that are halfway decent.

I just realised that I haven't said anything about myself. My actual livejournal is at http://mariana-oconnor.livejournal.com and it's just your usual livejournal really - moaning, commenting, ranting, a quiz or two or three. I don't lead the most exciting life in the world so reall there's nothing much to see.

I am British - I just tried to say that I was a Brit, but I couldn't quite bring myself to do it, and when not writing I am slightly anal retentive about grammar. I know, I know, that's the wrong way round, but it's all my family's fault. We obsess over rather inane pieces of grammatical lore which are mostly no longer in use and insist on their correct usage when we're around. Yeah - sometimes I hate myself too, but it's a nervous habit now.

There's other stuff, but nobody actually wants to know about that. No doubt, sooner or later, I'll replace all of this with pretty pictures. SO much nicer to look at than a page of writing about something no one really needs to know.
